Co-curricular experiences at our school help students build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership beyond the classroom.
Public Speaking & Communication
We offer a wide range of forums that build strong language skills and stage confidence across age groups:
- Debates (English and Hindi): Students learn to research, structure arguments, think on their feet, and respond with maturity while practicing respectful disagreement and active listening.
- Elocution (English and Hindi): Through recitation and prepared speeches, students develop pronunciation, articulation, expression, and presence.
- Model United Nations (MUNs): MUN participation introduces students to global issues, diplomacy, negotiation, and policy thinking while strengthening research, collaboration, and public speaking in a high-energy, competitive format.
- Gita Shloka Recitation (Sanskrit): This cherished platform strengthens diction, memory, cultural grounding, and confidence, while encouraging students to engage with classical language and values in a meaningful way.
Clubs that Build Curiosity & Confidence
Our co-curricular programme is also supported by a growing set of student clubs, including clubs that promote science and innovation. These clubs encourage hands-on exploration, demonstrations, discussions, and project-based learning helping students move from passive learning to active discovery.
Cross-Classroom Learning: Juniors Learn from Seniors
A unique aspect of our student culture is our emphasis on cross-classroom learning, where juniors benefit from the guidance of senior students and teachers. Through mentoring, peer-learning sessions, and shared activities, younger students gain confidence and motivation while senior students build leadership, patience, and responsibility. This creates a strong sense of community, where learning becomes collaborative and aspirational.
Why it matters?
Co-curricular learning supports academics while also shaping personality. Students who regularly participate in these platforms often show:
- Greater confidence and stage presence
- Stronger language and reasoning skills
- Improved research habits and curiosity
- Better teamwork and leadership
- A clearer sense of self-expression
In short, our co-curricular life helps students become well-rounded articulate, thoughtful, and prepared to engage with the world.
