Extra Curricular

Through sports and physical education, students develop strength, stamina, discipline, teamwork, and confidence that support lifelong health and character.

Physical Education

At our school, sports and physical education are an essential part of holistic development. We believe that regular physical activity builds not only strength and stamina, but also discipline, resilience, focus, confidence, and teamwork skills that shape a child’s character well beyond the playground.

Fitness & Training Programs

Our sports programme includes structured fitness and movement-based sessions that help students build healthy habits from an early age. These include:

  • PT (Physical Training) for stamina, coordination, agility, and overall fitness
  • Aerobics and Zumba to improve rhythm, endurance, flexibility, and energy
  • Yoga to support balance, posture, flexibility, breathing, and mental calm
  • Judo and Karate to build strength, self-control, discipline, confidence, and self-defence skills
  • Skating to develop balance, coordination, and body control in an engaging, skill-based format

Games & Sports

We offer a wide range of team and individual games that cater to different strengths and interests:

  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Badminton
  • Table Tennis
  • Indoor Cricket
  • Carrom
  • Chess

Through these games, students learn to set goals, practice consistently, follow rules, handle both success and setbacks, and develop a strong team-working spirit. Team sports, in particular, encourage cooperation, leadership, communication, and trust helping children understand that individual excellence grows best when it contributes to a shared goal.

Competitive Exposure

We actively encourage students to test their skills beyond school through participation in interschool events and tournaments, and our teams and athletes participate in competitions at the district and national level as well. Competitive exposure helps students develop match temperament, sportsmanship, and the confidence to perform under pressure while also giving them the experience of representing their school with pride.

Every year, we also organise a dedicated Sports Week, where students participate in a wide range of athletic events, team games, and fitness activities in a festive, high-energy environment. Sports Week gives every child greater exposure and play-time, encourages healthy competition and sportsmanship, and helps students build confidence, teamwork, and school spirit through active participation.

At our school, sports are not treated as “extra” they are a vital part of building strong, balanced, and confident learners.
